Carmen Kym Moore, also known as Kymberly Yazzie,[1] (February 21,[2] 1986 – August 2018[1]) was a Native American (Navajo Nation) actress. She began her acting career in the pornographic film industry, starring in 34 original features after her debut in 2008.[1]

Moore made her feature film debut playing Felixcia in Sydney Freeland's 2014 film Drunktown's Finest.[3][4][5] She was nominated for Best Actress at the 2014 American Indian Film Festival for her performance.[6]

Biography

Carmen Moore was born and raised on the Navajo reservation in northwestern Arizona before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada as an adult.[3] She was a transgender woman who also identified as Nádleehi and Two-spirit.[3]

Moore died in August 2018.[1]

Date of Birth 24 December 1972, British Columbia, Canada Mini Biography Carmen Moore was born in Burnaby, B.C., Canada, and lived in various cities in the Lower Mainland until Grade 5 when her family moved to Coquitlam, BC. Carmen fell in love with theatre in high school after performing in Port Moody Sr. Secondary's 'Leader of the Pack'. After high school she joined the Spirit Song Native Theatre Co., and worked with them for 9 months. She was hired on an act of faith for Theatre New Brunswick's Young Company tour in '92 and got rave reviews. Her next gig was Fend Players "Danceland", which she was nominated for a Jessie Richardson award, for best supporting actress. Continuing her work in theatre, as well as starting to audition for TV and film, she was booking gigs left and right.
