Fran Perea graduated from the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático of Málaga.[1] He made his debut in 2000, acting Hugo in television series Al salir de clase. He portrayed Hugo from 2001 to 2002.
In 2003, Perea got the role of Marcos Serrano in television sitcom Los Serrano. He also sang the opening theme "1 más 1 son 7", and was a huge hit in 2003.
