Anna Marie Hernandez Gamez is a Florida attorney who, as of May 2017, was a partner with Holland & Knight, specializing in contract and business law. In February 2017, Gamez was appointed to the Florida Constitution Revision Commission, a 37-member commission that reviews and proposes changes to the Florida Constitution.[1] According to an article in the Miami Herald, she is a Republican.[2]

Anna Marie Hernandez Gamez earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from Florida International University in 1997. She attended the University of Miami School of Law, graduating in 2001.[3]

Ana Hernández got her PhD in Psychology in 1998 at the University of Valencia, where she has been associate professor since 2003. She has a double affiliation with the department of Methodology, and the Research Institute for Personnel Psychology, Organizational Development, and Quality of Working Life (IDOCAL).

Her main methodological research interests are related to validity of measurement instruments, in general, and scale and item functioning, in particular. She has published about these topics in journals such as Multivariate Behavioral Research, Journal of Applied Psychology and Structural Equation Modeling. She has represented Spain in the EFPA commission for the European accreditation of test users and is member of the Spanish Test Commission within the Spanish Psychological Association. Ana María Hernández Salgar (born 1972) is a Colombian professional in international relations. She is currently the Head of Office International Affairs, Policy and Cooperation at the Alexander von Humboldt Biological Resources Research Institute.[1]

On May 6, 2019, she was appointed as the chair of the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES).,[2] the IPCC of biodiversity.[3] She replaced the outgoing chair, Robert Watson.[4] As the newly elected chair of IPBES, she did an interview with RCN Radio on the 2019 IPBES Report on threats to biodiversity.[5]
